I shot this panorama at a place near to my house, it is within the city of Hamburg / Germany. The lake you see is called a "Tegel" which is a german word and describes a layer of earth that is present in that region. It is similar to marlstone, but I couldn't find an exact translation for it. At this site workers used to gather the clay type of earth to make bricks out of it. That was before WWII, when the brick manufactory was destroyed by bombs dropped from the allied forces. Most factories or manufactories were bombing targets, but this one was also a target because there was a flak station in the manufactory building complex. I don't even want to know what hazardous load the little lake still holds, because it is known that about 10%-20% of all bombs dropped during WWII didn't explode.
That is the other side of the story to this (beautiful) photo of a place nature reclaimed for good.
As always, I would appreciate it a lot if like this work and and/or comment on it.

A beautiful panorama with equally beautiful reflections of the clouds on the water. I am not a fan of the red hues and would of liked to have seen more fertile green but it works well in the shot. All in all another great piece of work.
Thank you for your comment. You have a good point with your critic on the red hue, I usually don't change colors much but wanted to give it a try here. The thing I found out is that there are plenty of possibilities to make a photo even more interesting then in the very original colors. I tried green but it didn't work too well with the reed up front and the clouds, so I went with green. It is all in the process of learning and for that I need feedback like your comment, thanks
